Stuck in traffic on 59th St. Bridge to Manhattan… IPhoned this image and later transposed it to canvas with oil paint. The juxtaposition of the heavy metal supports and cross beams overlying the backdrop of Manhattan on the East River made for a compelling image of grit and Big Apple imagery.
